The Butler men's tennis team fell in 4-3 in a hard-fought match to Saint Louis in Saint Louis, Mo. this evening. The Bulldogs now sit at 7-14 for the spring season, while the Billikins improve to 12-2. 
 
BIG EAST Singles Player of the Week Patrick Joss defeated Andres Castellanos, 7-6 (7-3), 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Aidan William beat Theo Ortis at No. 3 in a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 finish. At No. 6 singles Siddhartha Lama defeated Valentin Vasquez, 1-6, 6-3, 6-2.
 
In doubles play, Nicholas Balthazor and Nicholas Shirley defeated Vasquez and Jonathan Sadowski in a 6-4 contest at No. 3 doubles. 
 
The Bulldogs will be back at home on Wednesday, April 3 to take on IUPUI at Butler's Outdoor Tennis Courts.
