BIG EAST Release

Patrick Joss and Nicholas Shirley have been selected as this week's BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. This is the pairs first time winning this honor. 
 
Joss and Shirley both contributed two big wins to help the Bulldog's to a 2-0 record this past weekend. On Saturday, the pair topped Dylan Brown and Guy Finkelstein from Southern Indiana with a 6-0 victory in the No. 3 doubles spot to help the Bulldogs to a 7-0 victory. On Sunday, Joss and Shirley defeated Kyle Totorica and Jorge Santamaria from BIG EAST member Xavier, in a hard-fought 6-3 win helping the Bulldogs to a 4-3 win. The pair are now 2-0 in the month of March for doubles play. 
 
The Butler men's tennis program will travel to Dallas, Texas to take on SMU on Wednesday, March 13.
