@ButlerWLacrosse Faces Off Against Lindenwood on Saturday

The Butler women's lacrosse program will take on Lindenwood on Saturday, April 13 at Varsity Field in Indianapolis, Ind. The first draw is set for 12 p.m.

Bulldog Bits:
  • The Butler women's lacrosse team is currently 2-11 overall and 1-4 in the BIG EAST, after facing a 5-20 loss to Denver on Wednesday.
  • Goalie Caroline Smith has accumulated 147 total saves during the 2024 season. She currently ranks third in the nation for the most saves per game with an average of 11.31 saves. Smith remains at the top of the conference in saves and saves per game. 
  • Luci Selander and Delaney Hudson both account for the most assists amongst the Bulldogs with 17. Selander and Hudson are tied for third in the BIG EAST with the most assists. 
  • Selander leads the program with 46 points and now tops the conference with the most points per game, averaging 4.18 points. 
  • Senior midfielder Leah Rubino has recorded 39 goals this season, leading the program and now sitting at third in the conference with the most goals. Rubino jumped to the top of the career all-time goals for the Bulldogs, she currently has 90 career goals. 
  • Maggie Zentgraf is in her second season as head coach for the Bulldogs. Zentgraf is a former member of the Notre Dame women's lacrosse team. Zentgraf previously coached at Division III Lake Forest, going 11-4 in the program's first-ever season. 
 
Scouting Lindenwood: 
  • The Lindenwood women's lacrosse program is led by Jack Cribbin. Cribbin is in his 19th season leading the Lions. 
  • The Lions are currently 10-3 overall for the 2024 season and are 1-2 in the ASUN conference. 
  • Attack Logann Eldredge leads the team with 47 goals and 67 points. Eldredge ranks second in the ASUN conference for goals per game and points per game. 
  • Attack Sara Grieco leads the program was 26 assists. Grieco is second in the conference for the most assists per game.

The Butler women's lacrosse program will travel to Storrs, Conn. to take on Connecticut on Saturday, April 20. The first draw is set for 12 p.m.
