BIG EAST Release

The BIG EAST conference announced on Monday afternoon that Borja Miralles was chosen as the BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of the Week. This is Miralles' first time receiving this honor in his collegiate career. 

Miralles helped lead the Bulldogs to a 4-1 victory over Marquette on Saturday afternoon to account for the team's fourth BIG EAST win of the season heading into the conference tournament. On Saturday, Miralles defeated Marquette's Tin Krstulovic in a tight 7-6 (3), 6-4 finish at No. 2 singles. 

Miralles is the fourth Bulldog to receive this honor this season, behind Rahulniket Konakanchi, Alvaro Huete Vadillo, and Patrick Joss.

The Bulldogs will be back in action later this week at the BIG EAST Conference Tournament in Cayce, S.C.
