The Butler men's tennis team defeated IUPUI, 4-3 on Wednesday at the Butler Bubble in Indianapolis, Ind on Senior Day. The Bulldogs now improve to 8-15 for the 2024 spring season. Prior to today's win, the Butler Athletic Department recognized the program's three seniors Alvaro Huete Vadillo, Borja Miralles, and Michael Karr. 
 
In doubles play, two of the seniors clinched hard-fought wins alongside their doubles partner. Huete and Rahulniket Konakanchi defeated Kamil Kozerski and Emil Jankowski in a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. In addition, Miralles and Patrick Joss beat Steven Paz and Luka Rodic in a 6-4 contest at No. 2 doubles. 
 
In singles play, Joss continues winning ways as he defeated Noah Viste in a 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (1) victory at No. 3 singles. Nicolas Arts beat Rodic 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and Aidan William beat Nate Day, 6-2, 7-5 at No. 6 singles. 
 
The Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday, April 6 to take on BIG EAST member DePaul in Chicago, Ill.
