Bulldog Bits:
- Maggie Zentgraf in her second season as head coach for the Bulldogs. Zentgraf is a former member of the Notre Dame women's lacrosse team. Zentgraf previously coached at Division III Lake Forest, going 11-4 in the program's first-ever season.Â
- The Bulldogs fall to 2-9 for the 2024 season and are now 1-2 in the BIG EAST after falling to Marquette on Wednesday in Milwaukee, Wis.Â
- In Wednesday's matchup, sophomore midfielder Kate Kaptrosky contributed four goals in the second half alone. Kaptrosky topped her Butler career high of goals within a single game. She tied her previous career high with three goal in last week's match against Villanova.
- Senior midfielder Leah Rubino leads the program with 34 goals and 39 points.
- Sophomore attack Luci Selander now leads the team with 13 assists and has help contributed 37 points throughout the season. Selander now ranks third in the conference with the most assists per game.Â
- Goalie Caroline Smith has recorded 122 saves so far this season for the Bulldogs and remains number one in the conference for saves and saves per game.Â
Scouting Georgetown:Â
- The Georgetown women's lacrosse team is led by Ricky Fried. Fried is in his 20th season leading the Hoyas.Â
- The Hoyas are currently 4-9 overall and 2-1 in BIG EAST matchups for the 2024 season.Â
- Sophomore attack Gracie Driggs currently leads the team with 30 goals and 31 points.
- Goalie Leah Warehime has accounted for 91 saves this season and currently ranks third in the conference for saves and saves per game.Â
- Senior attack Kylie Hazen currently leads the team in assists with 14.Â
