The Butler women's lacrosse team fell 18-10 to Georgetown today at Varsity Field in Indianapolis, Ind. The Bulldogs now fall to 2-10 overall and 1-3 in BIG EAST play, while the Hoyas improve to 5-9 overall and 3-1 in the BIG EAST.

The Hoyas dominated at the start of the match scoring 11 goals and only allowing four Butler goals; scored by
Leah Rubino,
Kayla Kielbasa,
Luci Selander, and
Kate Kaptrosky. The Bulldogs were down 4-11 heading into the second half. Freshman
Ava Clemson got the Bulldogs' momentum going, starting off the third quarter with an assisted goal from Selander. Followed by Kaptrosky's second goal of the match assisted by
Elise Latham. Selander, Kielbasa, Rubino, and
Delaney Hudson were all driving forces behind the final minutes of the Bulldog's hard-fought match against Hoyas.Â
