2024-25 Schedule
 
INDIANAPOLIS – Maurice Stewart has finalized the Butler swim schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Butler will once again compete in the Indiana Intercollegiate meet along with the House of Champions Invitational to prepare for the BIG EAST Championships which will be held in Geneva, Ohio this year.
 
The first chance for fans to see the team will be on Sept. 14 when BU hosts an intrasquad meet at the HRC Pool here on campus. The Bulldogs will then travel to Crawfordsville for a Cancer Fundraiser Event along with Wabash on Sept. 21. Each exhibition meet will begin at 8 AM.
 
The Butler Double Dual is the first true meet of the upcoming season. The Bulldogs will host their opener at Fishers High School on Sept. 29. Other teams competing include Xavier, St. Louis, Bellarmine and Evansville.
 
An alumni meet has been added to the schedule in 2024. The 'Dawgs will be at the HRC Pool over Homecoming Weekend on Oct. 5. Action gets underway at 9 AM.
 
The final meet of October sends Butler to the Indiana Intercollegiates Meet held in West Lafayette. Purdue will help host the meet that starts at 12 PM on Oct. 12.
 
The 2024-25 team will split up at the start of November. Some 'Dawgs will compete at Valparaiso on Friday, Nov. 1. Others will stay in town to swim at UIndy on Nov. 2. The Valpo meet gets going at 5 PM on Friday while the Saturday meet the next day is set for 1 PM.
 
The annual House of Champions Meet held by IU Indy is the final test before the start of the New Year. Butler will compete in the three-day event that begins on Thursday, Nov. 21 and ends on Saturday, Nov. 23.
 
A winter training trip will take place early in January with the Swim 'Dawgs hitting the water in Pompano Beach, Fla. Regular season action continues on Jan. 17 with Southern Indiana hosting both BU and Eastern Illinois on Jan. 17.
 
The 16th Annual Butler Invitational will land on Jan. 26 this year with a noon start. The Bulldogs will host Bowling Green, Eastern Illinois, Lewis, Southern Indiana, UIndy, Valparaiso and Xavier at Fishers High School.
 
IU Indy and Indiana State will then each host meets before the conference championship. IU Indy will welcome Butler downtown on Jan. 31 and the Sycamores will bring in BU and Ball State on Feb. 7.
 
All of those meets lead up to the grand finale. The 2025 BIG EAST Championship Meet in Geneva, Ohio will run from Feb. 26 to March 1.
