| By:

The Bulldogs will carry a three-stroke advantage in Sunday's final round of the Grizzlies Intercollegiate, hosted by Oakland University.

Butler's Saturday included 36 holes and rounds of four-under 284 in the morning followed by an afternoon 289. Their total of 573 is three shots ahead of Wright State. Oakland has two five-man teams in the field, and both are tied for third at 585 (+9).

Leo Zurovac led the way for the Bulldogs Saturday; he is tied for second at two-under 142. He is one of five players who are just one shot off the lead held by Wright State's Shane Ochs.

Zurovac shot a five-under 67 in the morning round, which was the best round of the day. He followed that with a 75 in the afternoon session for his 142 total. His morning round included six birdies against only one bogey on the 7,273-yard Katke Course in Rochester, Mich.

All five Butler players are among the Top 12 spots on the individual leaderboard. Freshman Johnny Creamean is tied for seventh at even-par 144. Classmate Logan Sutto is tied for tenth at one-over 145. Derek Tabor and newcomer Luke Kruger are among a group at two-over 146, tied for 12th.

The inaugural event features a 14-team field and 75 total players.

Sunday's play will include groups off both the No. 1 and No. 10 tees beginning at 8 a.m.
