The Bulldogs posted a third-place finish at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate to open the 2024-25 season.

Leo Zurovac tied for fourth individually, taking the top spot among Bulldogs on the leaderboard. Zurovac finished at even-par 216. He shot a five-under 67 in the morning round Saturday, which was the best round of the day. He followed that with a 75 in the afternoon session and a Sunday 74. His opening-round 67 included six birdies against only one bogey on the 7,273-yard Katke Course in Rochester, Mich.

Timmy Hollenbeck of Wright State overtook teammate Shane Ochs in the final round Sunday to claim medalist honors at five-under 211. Ochs was one shot back.

Freshman
Logan Sutto joined Zurovac in the Top 10, utilizing a final-round even-par 72 to finish at 217 (+1) and in a tie for seventh. He opened the event with rounds of 74 and one-under 71 Saturday.

The Bulldogs held a three-shot lead after Saturday's 36 holes. Wright State and host Oakland both posted red numbers as a team Sunday to jump ahead of Butler. Wright State claimed the team title at two-under 862, using a two-under 286 in the final round to take the victory. Oakland finished at 870 (+6), which was two shots ahead of Butler. The Bulldogs shot 299 (+11) Sunday. Three teams, including BIG EAST foe DePaul, tied for fourth, 14 shots behind Butler.
