The Bulldogs continued a strong pace to the fall portion of the schedule with strong performances at the WMU/Vredevelt Invitational Friday and Saturday. Butler joined host Western Michigan, BIG EAST foe DePaul, as well as Cleveland State and Youngstown State in Kalamazoo, Mich.
 
All 10 players on the Butler roster competed in three singles matches and three doubles contests.
 
In doubles play, Nicholas Shirley and Aidan William won two of their three matches.
 
Six Bulldogs posted 2-1 records in singles play: Shirley, William, Nicholas Balthazor, Siddhartha Lama, Patrick Joss, and Arnesh Singh.
 
The Bulldogs continue fall play with the Cardinal Invitational hosted by Ball State, which begins Friday. It marks the second tournament of the fall that Butler has participated in on the Ball State campus.
