The Bulldogs opened the 2024-25 season Friday and Saturday, squaring off with host IU Indy and Holy Cross College on IU Indy's home courts in downtown Indianapolis.
 
Butler posted a combined 13-3 record in singles action and a 7-1 mark in doubles play.
 
The tournament served as the first event for head coach Cassie Shultz. Her roster includes eight Bulldogs who are off to a strong start to the campaign.
 
Butler will have several weeks of practice prior to sending several athletes to compete at the ITA Regional Oct. 10-14 on the Middle Tennessee campus in Murfreesboro.
