Butler continued fall play over the weekend, making their second trip of the season to Muncie. This time, it was to participate in the Cardinal Invitational alongside host Ball State, BIG EAST foe Xavier, and Bellarmine.
 
The series of singles and doubles matches were played Saturday and Sunday at the Northwest YMCA. 
 
The Bulldogs were particularly strong in doubles play, winning seven of those nine contests.
 
Up next for the Bulldogs is the ITA Regionals Oct. 10-13; that tournament is set for the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, Ind.
