Butler Athletics is pleased to tee off its first annual "Pledge Per" Campaign with the Butler Men's & Women's Golf Long Drive event as the golf programs prepare for their respective 2025 spring seasons!

The "Pledge Per" Campaign provides Bulldog fans with the opportunity to support individual sport programs. Fans can select a desired donation increment (i.e. 50 cents, $1, $2, etc.) and support their favorite team.

Both Butler Men's & Women's Golf will utilize the "pledge per yard" statistic during a Long Drive event with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting the respective golf programs. Both programs will hold their Long Drive event in conjunction with the annual Butler golf alumni event on Saturday, January 25 at Highland Country Club Golf Academy.

All Men's & Women's Golf student-athletes, in addition to "special guest" drivers, will get 10 swings to record their longest drive utilizing state-of-the-art Trackman technology. Their individual longest drive will then be utilized to determine the gift amount for their respective program.

J Locklier, Sr. Associate Athletic Director/Development, states, "This is a great opportunity for all Bulldog Fans to support our young men and women on the golf course, in the classroom, and in the community. We are excited for this opportunity for our fans to engage with our golf programs as they tee off the 2025 season." 

How it works:

Click HERE to make a Pledge Per Yard donation.

Click on the Men's or Women's Golfer of your choice to set up a pledge at your desired amount.

Your selected individual's longest drive will then be utilized to determine a gift amount for their respective program. For example, a drive of 250 yards with a pledge of $0.10 per yard would equal a gift of $25.00. 

All "Pledge Per" Campaign donations are 100% tax deductible and will be acknowledged and receipted by Butler University Advancement. In addition, any donations made through the "Pledge Per" Campaign will be added to individual donors' accounts and can increase a donor's 2024-25 Bulldog Club membership level.

This is a unique opportunity to reconnect with old teammates, reminisce about your time with the program, and show your continued support as we work to move the program forward. This initiative is an exciting way for alumni to give back and directly impact the success of our current players."
