Inaugural Butler Baseball Long Ball Derby Set for Jan. 21

| By:
Butler Athletics is proud to announce the inaugural Butler Baseball Long Ball Derby which will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 on Butler's campus. The Long Ball Derby is a fun and unique way to support the Butler Baseball program. Fans can select a desired donation increment (i.e. 25 cents, 50 cents, $1, $2, etc.) as well as a student-athlete, coach, or guest hitter.

Each hitter will have 10 at-bats to record their longest ball. Utilizing the Trackman system for optimal accuracy, each hitter's longest ball will then be multiplied by the selected donation increment for a gift in support of the program.

Click the "Make a Pledge". Then, select your desired donation amount and choose your player, coach, or guest hitter.

Once you have made your pledge you will receive an immediate confirmation email and text message. Following the completion of the Long Ball Derby, you will receive an automated update on your selected hitter(s) and credit cards will be charged accordingly.

Long Ball Derby donations are 100% tax deductible and will be acknowledged and receipted by Butler University Advancement. In addition, any donations made through the Long Ball Derby will be added to individual donor accounts and can increase a donor's 2024-25 Bulldog Club membership level.

Or you can make a one-time gift to support Butler Baseball by clicking here.
