On Friday, the Bulldogs defeated the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles by a score of 6-1. 

Butler was able to grab the doubles point fairly easily thanks to wins from the duos of Nicholas Shirley and Patrick Joss and Arnesh Singh and Riccardo Baldi. Shirley and Joss won 6-1, while Singh and Baldi won 6-2.

At No. 1 singles, Joss continued his winning ways by defeating Mathys Bove, 6-4, 6-1. Baldi carried his momentum from doubles over to his singles match. He defeated Eytan Michaeli, 6-4, 6-1. Sophomore Siddhartha Lama, in his first singles action of the season, was able to earn a singles win at on the No. 6 court, defeating Bryce Rothschild, 6-1, 6-0.
