INDIANAPOLIS - Treva Dodd was named the Co-BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week after winning her second tournament of the fall, capturing the Dayton Flyer Invitational individual title. The sophomore recorded a three-round total score of 218 (+5).
Dodd's effort also helped lift the Bulldogs to a first-place finish in the event, marking back-to-back wins for the squad.
Dodd's 70 (-1) on Monday was tied for second-lowest round of the event. She sank three birdies en route to her one-under par score on the 5,854-yard course at NCR CC. Dodd's second and third rounds included four birdies en route to posting back-to-back rounds of 74.
Butler's tournament-winning, 54-hole total of 896 (+44) included rounds of 295, 301 and 300. The Bulldogs were able to defend their team title after also winning the Dayton Flyer Invitational in 2024.
This is Dodd's second weekly BIG EAST honor of her career. She is the third Bulldog recognized already this fall as
Addi Kooi and
Ashley Freitas shared the honor last week.
Tuesday's round served as the final competitive 18 for the Bulldogs during the fall portion of their 2025-26 schedule. Butler returns to action Feb. 1-3 in Palm City, Fla., as part of the UNC-Greensboro Advance Partners field.
