William Zegarski Has Received BIG EAST Co-Male Athlete of the Week Honors

William Zegarski was named BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. 

Last Friday at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, Zegarski placed 14th in the 8K Championship Race with a time of 23:36.1.

He was the first to cross the finish line for the No. 14 Bulldogs, leading them to an eighth-place team finish. The Dawgs placed ahead of 10 nationally ranked teams, including No. 1 Iowa State, No. 7 Wisconsin and No. 9 Notre Dame.
