The Bulldogs continued fall play over the weekend in Bloomington, Ind., taking part in the Hoosier Classic.
 
Butler was joined in the flighted-tournament event by host Indiana, Purdue, Louisville, Bellarmine, Chicago State, and Northern Illinois.
 
Freshmen Sophie Parr and Kate Fortney each went 2-1 in singles play with Parr playing in the third flight and Fortney in the sixth flight. Parr also teamed with senior Chase Metcalf to post a 6-4 win in the top doubles flight.
 
Butler will finish off the fall portion of their schedule Oct. 16-21 in Knoxville, Tenn., as part of the field in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional.
