Brooklynn Bohnert and Rachel Johnson recently signed with the Butler women's golf program on National Signing Day. The duo will begin their respective Butler careers with the 2026-27 season.

"We're incredibly excited to welcome Brooklynn and Rachel to the program," said Butler coach Christie Cates. "Both bring a combination of talent, work ethic, and character that fits perfectly with where we're taking Butler Women's Golf. They're the kind of additions who raise the standard and can make an immediate impact."

Bohnert, from Lanesville, Ind., attends Sacred Heart Academy in Kentucky. She is a three-time All-State selection with first-team honors as a senior and twice earning second-team accolades. She posted a 73.0 scoring average during her senior season and earned Louisville Courier-Journal Athlete of the Week honors during the campaign. Bohnert led Sacred Heart to two state championships.

Bohnert was named KHSAA Golf Student-Athlete of the Year among many academic honors.

Johnson, playing for Edwardsville High School in Illinois, placed 13
th in the 2024 IHSA Class 2A State Tournament. She won her conference individual title twice and earned all-conference honors four times. Johnson owns her school's single-round scoring record (68). As a senior, Johnson posted a scoring average of 71.0. Academically, she is a high honor roll student who is also a member of the National Honor Society.

The 2025-26 Bulldogs resume their competitive season in February.
