INDIANAPOLIS - Mallory Miller was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. Miller was superb for BU in a 2-0 week, tallying a career-high 16 points on Thursday night against Indiana State.
Miller averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per game for the Bulldogs last week. Against ISU, Miller only played 16 minutes and was efficient from the floor, sinking six of her nine shots. Her career-high 16 points led Butler while the redshirt sophomore chipped in seven rebounds, two assists and four blocks.
Against Eastern Illinois, Miller tallied nine points, six assists and six rebounds. The South Dakota native was a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe in the contest.
Butler will return to action on Friday, Dec. 19 as BU hosts Xavier in its first conference home game of the season. Tip-off at Hinkle Fieldhouse is slated for 7 p.m. and fans can stream the game live on ESPN+ with Kelsie Kasper and Alexis Ayala on the call.
