Strong Final Round Highlights Butler Play at Palmas del Mar Collegiate

The Bulldogs capped off the Palmas del Mar Collegiate on a high note as the team's final round score of five-under 283 was their best mark in the 54-hole event and the third-best total by any of the 14 teams in the field in the final round.
 
Butler was led by Logan Sutto, who tied for 48th at six-over 222. Butler's scoring five players were separated by only three strokes over the 54 holes.
 
The best Butler round belonged to Will Horne. His final 18 began Monday as the teams attempted to get a headstart on anticipated weather in Tuesday's forecast. Horne carded a four-under 68 on the 7,122 Palmas del Mar Flamboyan course. His round included five birdies and an eagle 3 on the 538-yard third hole.
 
Arkansas's Erich Fortlage won the event at 10-under 206. He started strong with an opening-round 67 (-5) on Sunday. Fortlage finished one shot better than Claes Borregaard of Kennesaw State.
 
Fortlage led the Razorbacks to the team title as Arkansas finished the 54-hole event at 843 (-21). That was two shots better than TCU (845). The Bulldogs placed 13th at 888 (+24).
