Friday afternoon the Dawgs welcomed the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles into the Racquet Club. Butler came away with the win 7-0. 

The dawgs jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead thanks to wins on all three of the doubles courts. On court 1 Chase Metcalf and Brooke Arington took down Anais Negrail and Sofia Davidoff 6-1. Over on court 2 Lauren Cook and Katie Beavin defeated Antonia Ferrarini and Rylie Wilkison 6-0. Norah Balthazor and Emma Beavin cruised to a 6-1 win on court 3 over Madison Windham and Khandice Thomas. 

As for singles, Butler won all 6 of the matches in straight sets. On court 1 junior Chase Metcalf beat Anais Negrail 6-2, 6-2. Norah Balthazor carried her dominant doubles performance to court 2 and took down Sofia Davidoff in a close 6-4, 6-4 match. Katie Beavin bested Antonia Ferrarini on court 3 6-0, 6-4. Moving to court 4 Katie's sister Emma Beavin outlasted Madison Windham 6-2, 6-2. On court 5 Brooke Arington delivered the Dawgs most dominant singles win for the match, she captured the 6-0, 6-0 win against Rylie Wilkison. Finally, on court 6 Lauren Cook rounded off Butler's dominant victory with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Elle Dewees. 

The Dawgs will look to make it two in a row tomorrow. They welcome Marion University into the Indianapolis Racquet Club. The match will start at 1 pm.
