Davis and Doezema Go 1-2 in the 200M to Highlight the Alex Wilson Invitational

The Butler track and field team earned top finishes at the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday night.

Jocelyn Davis and Jenna Doezema took the top two spots in the women's 200 meters. Davis won the event in 25.06 while Doezema followed at 25.69.

In the field, Cabott Craft won the men's long jump with a distance of 6.62 meters.

Other top Bulldog performers included:

Jade Cadichon set a new personal best in the women's 60 meters with a mark of 6.89 earning third
Ben Bradley placed third in the men's 60 meters at 6.99
Brendan Thomas earned a new personal best in the men's 3,000 meters at 8:17.10 to finish fourth
Abby Brennan added a personal best in the women's 400 meters at 56.40 to also earn fourth

The Bulldogs will be back in action next week as they prepare for the BIG EAST Indoor Championships in Chicago, Ill. beginning on Friday Feb. 28.
