Cybil Stillson led the way for the Bulldogs, finishing in a tie for 34th at the Rio Verde Invitational in Arizona. The three-day, 54-hole tournament hosted by Western Michigan University concluded Sunday.

Stilson's Sunday round was the best of the event for the Bulldogs as she navigated the 6,001-yard Rio Verde Country Club White Wing course with two birdies against three bogeys for a one-over round of 73. Her final round capped Stillson's weekend of work at nine-over 225.

Cal Baptist (even-par 864) took the tournament title, one shot ahead of Illinois State. Butler's BIG EAST rival Xavier finished third at 869 (+5). Cal Baptist was led by individual medalist Pusanisa Ekkantrong, who finished at 207 (-9) to win the event by five strokes.

The Bulldogs finished tied for 16th in the 21-team field. Butler was consistent over the three days with rounds of 308, 306 and a Sunday 305 to total 919 (+55).
