Dawgs Drop Match vs IU Indy

On Friday afternoon the Butler Men's tennis made the short trip over to the West Indy Racquet Club to take on the IU Indy Jaguars. IU Indy won the match 4-3. Butler falls to 6-6 on the season. 

IU Indy was able to earn the doubles point for the match with wins on courts 1 and 2. Over on court 3 Patrick Joss and Nicholas Shirley were able to knock off Steven Paz and Will Thurin 6-2. 

As for singles on court 1 Patrick Joss defeated Kamil Kozerksi in straight sets, 6-3 6-1. On court 5 Rahulniket Konakanchi dropped the first set of his match against Nate Day but was able to come from behind to beat Day 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Over on court 6 Aidan William was able to best Pumiphat Sukkho 6-2, 6-4. 

Butler is back in action tomorrow. They travel to West Lafayette to take on Purdue. The match will start at 3 p.m.
