The two-day event at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., concluded Tuesday. It was Butler's first event of the spring portion of the schedule.

Over the three matches,
Luke Kruger posted a 2-0-1 record. All seven Butler participants picked up at least one individual win, with
Johnny Creamean,
Leo Zurovac and
Logan Sutto each going 2-1.

The Bulldogs capped the event with a 4.5-2.5 win over Xavier Tuesday.

Tuesday's team win included individual victories by
Damon Dickey (1 Up), Creamean (1 Up), Zurovac (1 Up), and Sutto (5&4). Kruger halved his contest.

Monday's morning match came against St. John's as the Bulldogs took a 5-2 decision to start the event. Sutto (3&2), Zurovac (3&1), Creamean (3&2), Kruger (3&2), and
Henry Quinn (1 Up) were the five Bulldogs to pull out wins.

The Bulldogs turned around to face Marquette in the afternoon, falling to the Golden Eagles by a 5-2 mark.
Will Horne (1 Up) and Kruger (1 Up) were the two Bulldogs in the win column.

Marquette won the event with a 3-0 team mark. Butler, Connecticut and Creighton were the three teams to go 2-1. A total of eight teams were in the event.

The Bulldogs return to action beginning Sunday at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate in Puerto Rico. Â
