The Butler men's tennis team dominated Friday night shutting out Marian and DePauw 4-0 in both matches. 

In the first match against Marian, the Bulldogs came out firing after claiming the doubles point. Nicolas Arts and Rahulniket Konakanchi defeated James Ashworth and Jones McNamar on court 6-4 while Riccardo Baldi and Arnesh Singh  secured the point after winning 6-3.

For singles, Patrick Joss continued his success earning a point on court 1 after putting up a score of 6-4, 6-2. Head coach Sam Miles then made a change on court 2 sitting Arts and moving everyone up a spot. Ricardo Baldi and Nicholas Shirley jumped to courts 2 and 3 where they each added on the Bulldog score earning points. Baldi won his match 6-2, 6-2 and Shirley followed at 6-0, 6-1 to secure the team match victory for Butler.

In the second match of the day, Butler picked up where they left off against DePauw. The Bulldogs won the first two matches of the doubles to earn a point before then earning three more in the singles to complete the sweep. Coach Miles sat Joss for the singles matches moving everyone up again with Singh Siddhartha Lama, and Nicholas Balthazor each earning the needed points to notch another team match victory.

The Bulldogs will resume play in Muncie, Ind, beginning tomorrow afternoon at 1 PM at Ball State.
