Dawgs Set to Travel to Pennsylvania for Two Matches

After about a two week break the Butler Men's Tennis team will be back in action this weekend. The Dawgs will travel to Pennsylvania to play two matches in two days.

On Friday Butler will play their second conference match of the season, they will take on Villanova. That match will start at 1pm. On Saturday the Dawgs will take on LeMoyne College. That match will start at 2pm.  

Villanaova will come into the match against the Bulldogs with a record of 2-10. The Wildcats have wins over Wanger College and Nichols College. For Nova, this match against Butler will be their first in conference match. 

Le Moyne and Butler will meet at St Joe's University to face off in a neutral site match. Le Moyne will have a record of 4-5 when they meet the Dawgs on Saturday. Le Moyne competes in the Northeastern conference and are 2-0 in conference play.

As for Butler, they are 6-7 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. The Dawgs have dropped their last two matches. Their last win came against Purdue Northwest by way of 4-2. That match took place on February 21st. In the previous two matches junior Aidan William is 2-0 in singles play on court 6. 

William and the rest of the Dawgs will look to pick up a couple of wins this weekend in Pennsylvania.
