Butler Hits the Road to Face a Red-Hot Lindenwood

ST. CHARLES, MO — The Butler women's lacrosse team heads to Hunter Stadium to face a red-hot Lindenwood on Sunday, Mar. 16 beginning at 1 p.m. ET.

  • The Bulldogs lost their home opener against Eastern Michigan last weekend 4-10
  • Elise Latham has been the Bulldogs top offense weapon collecting a team-high nine goals in five games this season
    • Latham led the team with two goals and an assist against the Eagles last Friday
  • Patricia Lynn jumped to fourth on Butler's all-time list in career draw controls with 86
    • Lynn only needs four more draw controls to move to pass Ella Squibb to reach the third most in Butler's program history
  • Alyssa Lentz currently leads the Big East with 10.40 saves per game this season
    • Lentz also ranks third in the conference with 3.20 ground balls per game
  • Butler will face a familiar foe in Luci Selander who played two seasons with the Bulldogs
    • She holds the most points scored by a Bulldog in program history after posting 38 goals and 19 assists in 2024
  • Lindenwood enters the game with a 6-1 overall record including wins in their last four games.
    • The Lions have scored double-digit goals in every single game this season including 18 against Akron on Mar. 6
  • The all-time series is tied between Butler and Lindenwood at 1-1
    • The Bulldogs took home the win the last time they played in St. Charles 13-8 in 2023
  • Emma Palmer is tied for the team-high three assists this season
    • She has recorded an assist in her last three games
  • Makenna Evans has scored at least one goal in every game this season
    • She is tied for the second most goals on the team with five this season.
