On Sunday afternoon the Butler Women's Tennis team traveled to Muncie Indiana to take on Ball State. The Cardinals won the match 6-1.

The match started off with doubles play, where the duo of Chase Metcalf and Brooke Arington were able to win on the number 1 court, they knocked off Chole Brown and Alana Bristow 6-3. On courts 2 and 3 Ball State was able to pull through, therefore earning the doubles point. 

The lone point the Dawgs won in the match came thanks to Chase Metcalf. On the number 1 singles court Metcalf defeated Elena Malyth in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3. Ball State was able to win the matches on courts 2 through 6 in straight sets. 

The Dawgs will be back in action next Saturday March 8th, where they will travel to Chicago to take on DePaul. That match will start at 4:30 pm ET.
