Butler Suits Up For a Long Road Trip Beginning with Georgetown

The Butler women's lacrosse team prepares for a trip to Washington D.C. for another Big East battle against Georgetown. Bulldog fans can attend the game on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Cooper Field or tune into the stream on FloCollege.

Butler lost in both home games last week to UConn and UC Davis to fall to 0-10 this season
Elise Latham ranks second in the NCAA in free position percentage at 81.8%
- She leads the team with 22 goals this season including nine on a free position
Alyssa Lentz leads the Big East and ranks 16th in the country with an average of 10.12 saves per game
- She totaled 21 saves last week with against UConn (11) and UC Davis (10)
Maggie Lewis earned her second career hat trick after netting three goals against UC Davis
- Lewis is second on the team with 11 goals this season
Grace Hensley had a stellar day on defense against UC Davis recording four ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers
Lentz has amassed at least 10 or more saves in her last four games
Latham has scored at least one goal in every game this season

Scouting Georgetown

The Hoyas enter the game with a 7-6 overall record and 2-1 in the Big East
Georgetown holds an 8-0 all-time record over the Bulldogs
- Last meeting: GU wins 18-10 in Indianapolis
As a team, the Hoyas rank second in the conference for goal per game
Hanna Bishop leads the team in points with 23 goals and 25 assists this season
Grace Loschert earned the most recent Big East Freshman of the Week honors
- She totaled 11 goals in her last two games including a career-high seven against Xavier last Saturday
