On Sunday morning Butler took down Dayton by a score of 7-0. Before the match the Dawgs celebrated their three seniors. Katie Beavin, Emma Beavin, and Norah Balthazor were all recognized before the match. With the win, the Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 8-12 record and 4-3 record within conference play. 

The Dawgs were able to win the doubles for the match thanks to wins on courts 1 and 3. On court 1, the duo of Chase Metcalf and Brooke Arington took down Natalie Osiecki and Neena Katauskas 6-3. On court 3, Emma Beavin and Jordan Schildcrout found themselves down 5-3 in the set and worked their way back to force a tiebreaker. Then in the tiebreaker, the pair came from behind once again and won the tiebreaker after being down 5-1, clinching the doubles point for the Dawgs. 

As for singles play, Butler won all 6 matches. The seniors all were able to win their respective matches in straight sets. Norah Balthazor defeated Neena Katauskas on court 2 6-4, 6-3. Katie Beavin took down Laura Greb 6-1, 6-2 on court 3. Emma Beavin was victorious over Grace Murphy 6-1, 6-4 on court 6. 

Chase Metcalf picked up her 12th singles win of the season, all of them coming on the number one court. She took down Natalie Osiecki 7-6, 6-4. Lauren Cook picked up a win on court 5. Cook defeated Montserrat Sierra 6-3, 6-4. 

Over on court 4, Brooke Arington and Haley Klein Split the first two sets forcing a tiebreaker. In the tiebreaker Arington won the final 4 points to win the tiebreaker 10-8 and the match 4-6, 6-3, 1-0. 

The regular season has come to an end and the Bulldogs will now turn their attention towards The BIG EAST Tournament. The tournament begins Thursday April 17th and will take place in Cayce, SC.
