Brooke Arington / Chase Metcalf Win BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week

Brooke Arington and Chase Metcalf have been selected as BIG EAST Women's Doubles Team of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. This is the duo's second time receiving this honor. They previously won the award on March 23rd. Over this past weekend the duo went 2-0 helping the Dawgs win the doubles point in both matches, leading to Butler defeating both Marquette and Dayton.

On Saturday, Metcalf and Arington took down Andie Weise and Emma Davis of Marquette 6-1. Then, on Sunday the duo knocked off Natalie Osiecki and Neena Katauskas of Dayton 6-3. Both matches the duo played over the weekend took place on the number 1 court. Arington and Metcalf finished with a record of 11-7 on court 1 for the season.

With the regular season in the past, Butler will now compete in the BIG EAST Tournament, which will begin Thursday, April 17th.
