Patrick Joss Receives BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of the Week Honors

Senior Patrick Joss has received BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of the Week Honors, the conference announced Monday afternoon. Over the weekend the Bulldogs won both of their matches moving their record to 12-8 on the season and 4-1 in conference play. On Saturday, Joss took down Pablo Torress Almeida of DePaul 6-7, 6-3, 6-4. On Sunday, Joss knocked off Arthur O'Sullivan of Georgetown 6-3, 7-5.

Both matches Joss won over the weekend took place on the number 1 court. Joss' record on court 1 now sits at 10-8 on the season.

Butler will celebrate Senior Day where Joss will be recognized this Saturday April 12th when they take on Marquette. The match will start at 3pm.
