Three from Women’s Lacrosse Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Three student-athletes on the Butler women's lacrosse team – Grace Hensley, Elise Latham, and Peyton Moroney – have been recognized by College Sports Communicators as Academic All-District®.
 
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
 
Hensley, a senior from St. Louis, Missouri, was a started in all 14 games Butler played this season. The defender tied for a team-high 13 caused turnovers and finished second on the team with 23 ground balls.
 
Latham, from Indianapolis, Indiana, started all 14 games and led Butler in several offensive categories: 36 points, 30 goals, 66 shots, 51 shots on goal, and 10 free-position goals. The junior became the first Bulldog to score at least one goal in every game played during a full season.
 
Moroney, a senior from Haddon Township, New Jersey, started all 14 games this season for the Bulldogs. She posted 15 draw controls with a career-high, five, vs. UC Davis. The senior defender picked up eight ground balls and caused seven turnovers.
