Butler Head Coach Maurice Stewart released the 2025-26 Bulldog swim schedule today. Highlighting the slate will be the 17th Annual Butler Invitational on Jan. 25 and the BIG EAST Championship Meet on Feb. 18.
 
The Bulldogs will be in Fishers to host their invitational for the 17th-straight year. Bowling Green, UIndy, Valparaiso and Xavier will be in attendance for an event that will double as Senior Day for BU.
 
The BIG EAST Championships will be held in Ocala, Fla. this year. The four-day event will start on Feb. 18 and end of Feb. 21.
 
Building up to that point, BU will officially open the 2025-26 season with a "Swim Across America" event at Wabash. The fundraiser on Sept. 20 will start at 9 a.m.
 
While technically listed as an away event, Butler's first real competition will keep the team in Indianapolis. The Bulldogs will participate in the IU Indy Double Dual on Oct. 4. The Indiana Intercollegeiate meet is the following weekend in Lafayette and the team will shoot down to Louisville at the start of November to compete against Bellarmine and Southern Indiana.
 
Valparaiso will be the final tune-up for BU before the 2025 House of Champions Invite, which gets underway on Nov. 20. The 'Dawgs will be off until January after that meet and will begin to prep for the 2026 slate with a Winter Training Trip just five days into the New Year.
 
UIndy will host the Bulldogs and Northern Kentucky on Jan. 17 and IU Indy will give BU one more chance to compete before the conference championship meet.
 
Coach Stewart saw the Bulldogs record 570 points at the BIG EAST meet just one year ago. That total was their second highest ever when competing in the conference championship meet.
 
The 2025-26 team has 10 seniors on the roster led by school record holder Kate Schilling. A year ago, Schilling set records in the 100 Free, 200 Free, 100 Breastroke, 200 Breastroke, 200 Butterfly, and 200 IM.
