NEW YORK - The BIG EAST Conference announced the 22 teams that have been recognized with 2024-25 Team Academic Excellence Awards for compiling the highest collective grade-point averages in each conference sport. The Bulldogs took the top honor in both indoor and outdoor women's track and field. Each program posted a 3.748 GPA.
The winners were chosen based on the 2024-25 grade-point average of each student-athlete who appeared on an institution's roster as of the last contest of the championship segment in each conference-sponsored sport.
Seven schools had at least one team honored, with Creighton leading the way with five, while Georgetown and St. John's each had four teams recognized.
