Hannah Moore Takes Runner-Up Finish in her 2025 Season Debut

| By:
Making her 2025 season debut, Hannah Moore led the Bulldogs with a runner-up individual finish at Saturday's Rumble In The Fort.

Moore covered the 6K Mastodon Cross Country Course in Fort Wayne, Ind., in a time of 21:19.3. Her performance led Butler to a runner-up finish in the team standings as well. Moore did not run in the season-opening Mike Baumer Cross Country Classic Sept. 5.

Moore was one of three Bulldogs among the Top 10 in the 92-runner field. Kylie Cline was seventh overall in a time of 21:39.3, one spot ahead of teammate Mckenna Mazeski (21:41.7).

Trine's Sidney Swick won the race in a time of 21:07.3. She led The Thunder to the team title with 37 points, just ahead of Butler's 43. There were eight teams in the field, including host Purdue Fort Wayne (fourth) and four other Horizon League squads who were running on the course that will host their conference championships later this fall.

Elsa Rusthoven, who was Butler's third finisher at the Baumer Classic earlier this month, did not race Saturday.
