The Bulldogs opened the 2025-26 season in grand fashion, dominating the field at the University of Indianapolis Fall Tournament over the weekend.
 
Butler posted a record of 19-6 in singles matches and a 10-2 mark in doubles play.
 
Chase Metcalf (3-0), Sophie Parr (3-0), Sienna Miles (3-0), Brooke Arington (2-0), and Lauren Cook (2-0) were unblemished in singles play. In doubles, the teams of Metcalf and Parr and Arington and Miles each went 3-0.
 
The weekend served as the Butler debut for the Bulldogs' five freshmen: Parr, Miles, Hailey Poplin, Julia Uyesato, and Kate Fortney.
 
Up next for the Bulldogs is the Bowling Green Hidden Duals Friday and Saturday. Butler will be joined in the field by the host Falcons, Findlay and Wayne State.
