INDIANAPOLIS - Saniya Jackson was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. Jackson was pivotal in a 1-1 week for BU, posting her first career double double in a 73-67 win against DePaul on Wednesday evening. 
 
Jackson poured in a career-high 22 points against the Blue Demons and posted a career-high 10 rebounds in the contest. The Fort Wayne native added four assists and a steal against DePaul. 
 
Against Marquette, Jackson nearly posted her second double double in as many games, recording 12 points and nine rebounds against the Golden Eagles. Jackson added three assists in the contest against Marquette. Jackson averaged 17.0 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game across the week for Butler. This is Jackson's first weekly honor of the season. 
 
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 1 as BU makes the quick trip to Xavier for a BIG EAST matchup. Tip-off at the Cintas Center is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
