At the first checkpoint of the indoor season, Butler Men's Track and Field is ranked among the top 15 nationally in two events. 
 
Butler Men's 3000-meter group is eighth in the NCAA Event Ranking with an average time of 8:02.15. 
 
The Men's Mile squad is currently 15th in the NCAA Event Ranking with an average time of 4:03.22. 
 
The event rankings will be released by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association throughout the season.
 
Butler Men's Track and Field is currently ranked 11th in the Great Lakes Region with 116.27 points.
 
The Bulldogs will return to action this weekend in the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational which will take place in Louisville, KY. More information on the event will be available on Butlersports.com.
