Arington defeated NIU's Theodora Kousiou, 7-5, 7-5, on the No. 2 singles court. Earlier in the afternoon, she paired with
Chase Metcalf for a victory at No. 1 doubles as the duo picked up a 6-4 win over Nataly Miroslavova Ninova and Malika Kabdesh.

Butler's other win came at No. 6 singles as
Elle Martin topped Isabella Righi, 7-6 (6), 6-3.

The Bulldogs are 2-3 on the young season, while NIU improves to 5-1.
