Jesse Hamlin traveled to Boston, Mass. to compete in the 3000- meter race at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. Hamlin was one of four collegiate runners to make the field in Saturday's race.
Hamlin placed 15th with a time of 7:45.07.
Hamlin was the second fastest collegiate athlete in the field behind Iowa State's Robin Kwemoi Bera who recorded a time of 7:43.87.
Darragh McElhinney with Forte Sports Management earned first-place with a time of 7:38.96.
