INDIANAPOLIS – Butler's student-athletes continued their impressive performance in the classroom, combining for a 3.527 GPA for the 2025 fall semester.
The achievement marks the 14th consecutive semester that Butler student-athletes combined for a 3.3 GPA or higher. The fall semester GPA is the highest for Bulldogs since 2020.
"This is yet another incredible achievement collectively for our student-athletes," said Butler Vice President and Director of Athletics Grant Leiendecker. "Bulldogs continue to prioritize their education and dedicate the time and effort necessary to be successful. Our outstanding academic services staff does a tremendous job supporting their academic success and our campus is filled with talented and dedicated educators who positively impact our student-athletes each and every day."
The fall semester saw 109 student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA. Butler also had 372 student-athletes make the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, which requires a GPA of at least 3.25.
The softball team recorded the highest team GPA among Butler's programs with a 3.89 mark. The dance program (3.792) and women' track and field program (3.789) had the next-highest team GPAs during the semester.
Ten of Butler's 20 athletic programs produced a team GPA of 3.5 or better for the fall semester. All 20 programs achieved a GPA of at least 3.2.
