Four Bulldogs had a very successful weekend, combining to win all but two matches at the Knight Time Invitational, hosted by Marian University. Bethel College was the third team in the event.

Butler's doubles teams – comprised of freshmen Shane Hand and Alex Borbiu on one team and Arnesh Singh and Wes Worobel on the other – each won two matches before meeting in the flight final. Hand and Borbiu won that match-up in a tiebreaker.

The A singles flight also included a Butler versus Butler final as Borbiu outlasted teammate Hand in three sets after both players won two matches to advance through the bracket.

In the C singles flight, Singh won three matches over opponents from host Marian to win that title.

The Bulldogs will close out the fall portion of the schedule Nov. 6-8, competing in the Ball State Invitational.
