On Saturday afternoon, the Butler women's tennis team welcomed Eastern Michigan to the Indianapolis Racquet Club for a weekend match. Eastern Michigan won the match 5-2.
Eastern Michigan was able to win the doubles point despite an early win on court 1 from Brooke Arington and Chase Metcalf.
As for singles, the Dawgs fought hard in some very close matches. On court 2, Brooke Arington was able to secure a win in a third-set tiebreaker. On court 4, Sophie Parr won in straight sets against Pehal Kharadkar. On court 6, Sienna Miles took her match to a tiebreaker, where she unfortunately lost the final set.
The Dawgs travel to Oxford, Ohio, to face the Miami Redhawks on Sunday; the match starts at 5 p.m.
