The Butler track and field team concluded action in the Heartland Invitational in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman
Anna Niebrugge broke the school record in the 60-meter dash again on Friday night with a time of 7.54 seconds. She previously broke the record last weekend with a time of 7.58 seconds.
Poppy Healy earned third in the women's 800-meter race with a time of 2:10.12.
On the men's side, the Bulldogs earned first and second in the 5000-meter race.
Matteo Rosio came in first with a time of 14:08.08.
Kyle Grove finished right behind him with a time of 14:13.30.
Ryan Elston also recorded a first place finish in the men's 800-meter race with a time of 1:50.64.
Other Top Bulldog Performers Included:
- Brendan Thomas earned second in the men's 3000-meter race with a time of 8:05.71.
- Eli Fullerton earned fourth in the men's 3000-meter race with a time of 8:13.14.
- Owen Whitney placed third in the men's mile with a time of 4:07.08.
