INDIANAPOLIS - The Butler swimming team finished the first day of competition at the BIG EAST Championships in Ocala, Florida. 
 
Butler competed in the 200-medley relay and the 800-medley relay on day one. BU finished seventh in the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:45.33. 
 
In the 800 free relay, BU finished fifth with a time of 7:40.86. Kate Schilling broke her own 200 freestyle team record in the first leg of the 800 free relay. Butler's time of 7:40.86 is the second fastest in school history.
