INDIANAPOLIS — The Butler women's golf team split its roster to compete in two tournaments this week, opening play at both the Rio Verde Collegiate and the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. After the first round, the Bulldogs are tied for 17th out of 19 teams at the Rio Verde Collegiate and sit 15th at Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational after two rounds. 

The Bulldogs shot 315 (+27) on Friday for the 18-hole round at the Rio Verde Collegiate. At the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, the Bulldogs shot 619 (+43). The University of North Carolina Greensboro currently leads the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational with a combined score of 574 (-2) after 2 rounds. At the Rio Verde Collegiate, Xavier leads the tournament with a combined score of 292 (+4). 

Treva Dodd is currently tied for 33rd at the Rio Verde Collegiate. Dodd is leading for the Bulldogs with a score of 76 (+4) on the par-72 Rio Verde Country Club course in Rio Verde, Arizona. 

Sophie McGinnis is tied for 44th at the end of two rounds. McGinnis is leading for the Bulldogs with a score of 151 (+7) on the par-72 Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Georgia. 

McKenzie Mages of South Dakota State is leading the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, posting -5 after two rounds. Manon Guille of Wichita State is tied with Xavier's Isabel Brozena, posting -3 after one round at the Rio Verde Collegiate.

The second round of 18 holes is scheduled for Saturday, with a shotgun start beginning at 12:00 in the afternoon for the Rio Verde Collegiate. The third round of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational has not yet been posted.
